After completing an extensive competitive market analysis, ongoing internal evaluation and agent feed back at our East Valley Meeting, 1st USA Realty Professionals, Inc. has decided to make various changes to the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA). The changes will become effective Monday, April 9, 2007 and will increase the company’s market competitiveness.

Some revisions to the ICA are for clarification purposes only. Others relate to changes in various fees. Namely, transaction fees will now apply to each transaction, not just the first transaction of the month.

The 3 available billing options are as follows:

Option A:
$ 50.00 Monthly Office Rent
$ 200.00 Transaction Fee on each transaction
$ 75.00 Errors and Omissions Insurance per transaction
$ 35.00 Transaction Management Fee per transaction

Option B:
$ 25.00 Monthly Office Rent
$ 300.00 Transaction Fee on each transaction
$ 75.00 Errors and Omissions Insurance per transaction
$ 35.00 Transaction Management Fee per transaction

Option C:
$ 225.00 Monthly Office Rent
$ 200.00 Transaction Fee on the 1st transaction of each month
$ 75.00 Errors and Omissions Insurance per transaction
$ 35.00 Transaction Management Fee per transaction

1st USA will also now be enforcing its long-standing policy regarding Agents paying for the 1st USA Legal Department’s time. Please refer to Section 12 of the ICA for further explanation.

All agents will be required to sign this new version of the ICA and the receipt for the current policy manual. A copy of each will be delivered to your respective mail boxes at your branch offices the week of April 9th. The ICA is also available for print from our agent extranet. Please sign and return the ICA and receipt of the policy manual to the corporate office, if we don’t receive it by May 15th, you may lose your direct cut privilege.
